Country: The United States of America
Real name: Alfred F. Jones
Personality:
America, though young, has been roughly thrust into the world as a superpower. Though still slightly naieve and extremely thick headed, he has been through more in his short life than most countries had when they were his age.
He's always upbeat, and generally obscenely obnoxious. Alfred's ridiculously thick-headed and completely oblivious to nearly everything around him. He's loud and brash, and comes up with ridiculous ideas to solve world problems. He has self-proclaimed himself the "Hero of the World" and is not shy about telling it to everyone who will listen.
Dispite his obnoxiousness and oblivious nature, Alfred is actually really sensitive deep down. He takes critizism hard, expecially when it comes from countries close to him like England and Canada. Though he appears to brush off the critizism like its nothing.
America is terrified of the idea of ghosts, and believes that there is extra-terrestrial life out in space. (You can take his word for it. Tony the ailen lives with him.) The air-headed blond still watches horror movies and plays scary video games dispite his fear of the supernatural.

Role Play Example:
Alfred woke up with the sun this morning. He got up and stretched, smiling at the light streaming in through his window. The personification of the United States of America wandered into his cozy living room and clicked on his TV. Alfred switched the station from the cartoons he fell asleep to last night, to the morning news before he walked into the kitchen, to grab a cup of coffee that was already prepared and piping hot.
He glanced at the digital clock he had next to the stove. 8:45 am, September 11th, 2001. He began raising his cup to his lips as the clock ticked over to 8:46.
The cup of coffee slid out of Alfred's hands and shattered as it hit the tiled kitchen floor. He raised a shaking hand to his forhead to find that a long, painful gash had suddenly appeared there. "W-What's going on!?" Blue eyes widened in confusion and pain. Alfred ran back out into his living room and stared at the TV screen. His eyes widened and his heart clenched at what the anchor said.
"This morning at 8:46 am American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York. "
He just stood there, blood slowly seeping down his face. The next minute his forehead was in agony again. "A second plane just crashed into the south tower!" Alfred cried out in pain as two more deep gashes appeared on his body, one in the middle of nowhere on his shoulder, and one dangerously close to his heart. "O-oh god...the Pentagon...."
The United States of America was now kneeling on his carpet, bleeding from four different deep gashes, all caused by airplanes. Suddenly, the twin gashes on his forehead throbbed and opened deeper. Alfred raised his eyes to the TV, in time to see the Twin Towers fall to the ground. He cried out, fisting his hands in the carpet as he could feel as every life in and around those buldings was slowly snuffed out.
His mind was in a whirlwind. 'Who?....What?...How?........Why?!' Tears were running freely down the nations face. The last words he heard from the TV before blacking out resonated something deep within him. "The planes were hijacked. This is the work of terrorists."
