Country: Greenland, Grønland.
Real name: Magnús Solberg.
Personality:
If you think of Greenland, the first thing you might imagine is nice, fertile grounds with swaying, pastelle-green, almost dreamy-coloured plains. Well, it's not. It was just all big mistake. In truth, Greenland is icy, cold, and white. That's not that far from the real portrayal of Greenland, Magnús. He has white, silverish coloured hair that's rather long, and purplish-pink tinted eyes. His skin is pale and cold to the touch, even though he says that it's no matter.
Magnús always catches colds or illnesses very easily, and can be seen with a thick shawl, scarf, or a blanket around him to keep him warm. These days, he's taken to wearing a navy-coloured hat and coat, along with gloves. But sometimes, he forgets to wear them and ends up blowing on his hands for warmth. To be honest, though, he is very pixie-like, eccentric, and jumpy, and very worried about everything and anything. Rather, the boy is also very gullible, and will fall for almost any trick; unless he knows it to be false, of course.
It is to be expected of a young teen, but Magnús was never the one to remember things exceptionally well, and tends to forget things that might be important to him. He always carries around a chewable Vitamin C, just in case he catches a cold randomly, but sometimes, he forgets those too. In the cases in which someone scolds or is mad at him, he will always try to apologize first and will never try to make anyone mad, in the first place. Magnús just gives a very sheepish look and a small smile, along with "Beklager!" -- which means, sorry.
He's naturally seen pouting or looking kind of sulky, his hands in his pockets. It's actually to keep his fingers warm, but the pouting is because of the fact of his mis-written name. Actually, the white-haired teen is kind of jealous of Iceland; he wants to be nice and pretty, too. Now, he's gotten used to being cold all the time and carrying around hand-warmers, coats, and thick clothes, he can't really vanish his wish for being different than now. A boy can dream, can't he?
In a plain nutshell, Magnús is childish, immature, clingy -- extremely so. If he finds someone he likes, it's his first nature to check them out with a hug or a cuddle. He doesn't know what 'Personal Space' means. It's not even in this Dictionary! Wrapping his arms around someone else, and rubbing his cheeks to the other's cheeks or rubbing his nose against the other's nose in a 'Nose Kissu', in a show of affection. It's not hard getting used to it, but those who doesn't like hugs should learn to evade him!
He never holds grudges, and isn't really mad to anyone, even though he might act all pouting and huffy. Even if someone has a big difference to him, and has a bad History -- maybe Denmark, Magnús doesn't hate him. In fact, he looks at him as an older Bror, although disagreements might be frequent. But he'd win, of course!
... Independence is good. Ja.
Likes:
- Sweets, cookies, food.
- Plush dolls and anything soft to hug, cuddle, or to sleep on -- that could be a human, too.
- The Nordics/Family: Danmark, Sverige, Finland, Norge, and Island.
- Hugs, cuddles, and meeting new people. He's very curious!
Dislikes:
- Catching or having a cold.
- Being all alone or the thought of being alone.
- Fighting or arguments, either if he's involved in it or others are. It scares him, to be honest, and doesn't quite understand the capability of rule and mastering over other countries.

Greenland was first found by Erik the Red, who was banished from Iceland. To make the newly-found land more nice and attractive-sounding, he named it "Greenland."

1940
For World War II, Denmark is occupied and taken over by Germany. Because of this, the United States assumes protective custody over Greenland during this time period, until the end of the war.
1945
Greenland has returned to Denmark, but the military use of the island by the United States and the NATO allies were still on-going and continuing. It does not end until 1951.

1979
Greenland attains rule by referendum. The Parliament has control over internal matters and decides upon them, but Denmark still retains control over constitutional affairs, foreign relationships, and defence.
1982
The Greenlanders wants to leave the European Community. The withdrawal is completed in 1985.
1989
An extensive amount of gold is found in Greenland, but because of the harsh weather and the land position, exploitations are hard.
Role Play Example:
Magnús wasn't feeling so good.
His head hurt a little, and his body felt all hot. It didn't feel nice, and his tummy churned, too. He had to pass some good, hot breakfast because of the ache in his tummy. Sighing, the white-haired teen slipped out of his bed with his hand on his stomach, then went into the bathroom and locked the door. The floor was cold, and the heater probably wasn't on. Where was Bror? Nibbling on his lower lip, Magnús flitted around the bathroom; using the toilet, washing his face, and brushing his teeth. After all that, he finally finished by brushing a fine-toothed-comb through his silver hair. Hnn, he looked all right for that day. Unlocking the door and going back out, he peeked down the stairs and climbed down carefully, clinging onto the railing.
"E-Eii, Bror?" He called out before puffing his cheeks and cuddling closer to his night-wear, shivering before setting foot in the Kitchen. No one was there, and everything was neatly put away in their space. "Huff." Magnús commented before going back out again, jumping onto the couch with his eyes closed and a blanket draped over him frame. Hooa, it was cold! And he'd better not have gotten down with a cold again, either! Besides, it was almost summertime, and maybe he could feel a little bit better by not being sick --
Uh oh.
"A--- ah... A-choo!"
Oh, no.
